About The Event

On Sunday, September 13th from 10am-2pm, Montville Animal Control (K9 Barrett Memorial Animal Control Facility) and Montville Animal Welfare Initiative Inc. will be hosting a multi-town adoption event.


There will be approximately 9 animal control facilities with their non-profit partners in attendance along with a pet photographer, mobile groomer, food trucks, microchips for dogs, nail trims for dogs, and much more.

The Montville Animal Welfare Initiative, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization beginning January 22, 2025.

The mission of the Montville Animal Welfare Initiative, Inc. is to provide a support system to the K-9 Barrett Memorial Animal Control Facility and adjacent towns.  The mission will also include being a resource for animal welfare education, fundraising, and advocating for the overall well-being and welfare of animals.
